hey did any1 see, or noticed how they made a big deal 'ut indian flag bieng upside-down on musharaff'z plane along wid the paki flag on the other side?????
i know a flag upside down is a sign of disstress(i think) but even when da pilot said it waz an honest mistake, indian political right wing wants an appology from musharaff himself.
any1 care to comment on that?????

I don't think theres any harm in apologising. Mistakes do happen. If you accidentally hit someone, u still say sorry eventhough it was not intentional.
If Mr.Musharraf did say sorry, he'll be a better man for it and it will also shut the mouths of the people making it an issue.
In fact i think India are the ones that will be embarrassed as they are making an issue out of nothing.

i agree wid wut u r sayin' totally, but dun u think dats wud be almost like feeding to typical right wing hindu idiology dat actually wanna create big deals outta some innocent mistake. i mean, we all know they wud luv to see another aagra summit type of thang where musharaf got pissed off n walked away ( which was da rite thang to do btw).
i do howeva think dat we shud be bigger then them, n give them da satisfaction of feeling good 'ut themselvez. a very small price to pay foe peace.

haha....it was really an insult to the indians bcoz this sort of incidents r considered very serious.....the same incident happened last yr in bangladesh when a worker in a saarc conference hoisted the indian flag upside down but the indian media didnt ask for apology from the bangladeshi govt.
neways...it was an innocent mistake made by the pilot and one must beleive him and bhindian media should stop crying over spilt milk.

if theyre actualy demanding an apology theyneed to get a life. maybe we should ask for an apology for their loser crowd our players pelted with bottles or for indians constantly referring to the border as a "line" and refusing to accept pakistan's existence.

imagine if pakistan's flag was upside down there would have been a great deal in pakistan, same is with india.

i doubt it would have been a big deal in pakistan. there is a marked difference in the quality of rhetoric in pakisdtan and in india and it will be foolish not to recognize that. stones were thrown on pakistani players in india but it did not become a big issue at all, there was hardly a mention. pakistan is infact going so overboard with the "peace" brigade that they dont even protest things that need to be protested.
in pakistan no responsible newspaper has pasted headlines saying "delhi conquered!" or something like that after indias crushing defeat but headlines such as "karachi conquered" were common in indian newspapers after india won in pakistan in 2004.

ure r rite, statements like dat were pretty common around the cricket series last year. but u gotta understand the sentiment of pakistan just recently changed towards india or indian ppl, if u look 9innto recent past, last 25 years or so, anti-indian centiment waz at all time high in pakistan. specially during zia'z reign.
i think its a good thang dat ppl'z altitude iz changing in pakistan, not just toward india, but 'ut everythangh. i think its 'ut time we crawled our way into da 21st century..

people always want to bring up the bad things... it is not a good idea to disrespect the flag...if unintentional i think a sorry would do....but u shouldn't make it a big issue...
