Yeh Oprah Winfrey kahan se aagayee beech mein?
If you are making a list then make a realistic one. Since your list is not restricted to Pakistani personalities, I would say it is missing some other names, who are worth praising for their efforts. For example Gandhi, Winston Churchil, Einstein, Yasir Arafat, Allama Iqbal, Malcolm X, etc.

Gandhi may not be that popular among us in Pakistan but his struggle for freedom aganist the British is admirable. We were lucky to have Quaid-e-Azam to get Pakistan for us but God forbid if Quaid-e-Azam was not there Gandi would have got the whole India from British single handedly.

Gandhi & Malcom X are one of the most known and famous figures of the worlds history. Its hard to imagine what they did and how they did it.. Nelson Mandella is doing the same thing.. Patience and courage the 2 keys i believe. Excellent people and its always nice to hear the work they did in the past.

Quaid-e-Azam
one of his quotes I like
" Main daleel ki taqat pay yaqeen rakhta hoon na kay taqat ki daleel pay."
I believe in the "power of words" not in the "words of power".
When we are talking about greatest people
we should not forget about our beloved Prophet
wajh-e-kaainaat
rematall-il-aalameen
fatah-e-badro hunain
raahat-e-jaan noor-e-ain
Hazrat Muhammad mustafa Sallallah-u-alaihay wassallam.

I agree with Naifai, if we are looking for the greatest person ever than it is beyond doubt our Prophet Mohammad PBUH.
In the last century it is open to debate who was the greatest.
I will always place Muhammad Ali Jinnah over Gandhi because Gandhi had to fight the British only while Jinnah fought on two fronts, British and Hindus, and came out with flying colours.
Other contenders include Muhammad Ali, Nelson Mandela and Einstein. Muhammad Ali and Nelson Mandela fought for what, they believed, was right and were ruthlessly victimised but stood tall and won.
I don't know what King Fahad has done to warrant him a place among the greatest. Now, if Shah Faesal's name had been in the poll, it would have been worth pondering upon.

ability to fight with more than one doesn't make a great person....mohammad ali jinnah was great but only for sub continent muslims coz he fought for them.....
